Ah ha - A benefit... My period reminds me that I am a functioning woman. Now all of us hope that this means that we can conceive, but... at the end of the day it is actually a part of being a woman and should remind us that our bodies are doing amazing things with no prompting or prodding.

Even if the function doesn't lead to reproduction for that one month.

    Praline.x

p.s - I read a feminist book called C*nt a few years back which was all about celebrating the mechanics of female biology. It changed how I view my periods and the issues that it brings. I cannot do a google search for the author just now...

    I'm 1DPO, but I have no eggs in me:rotfl:
If I get into an accident, I would probably be saying, I have 7 babies at xxx hospital or something like that:rotfl:

It's all a bit confusing this stuff. Does't help that I forgot to temp whilst I was away either. Would have a clearer idea of what was going on then.
    Hope AF avoids your convention:o
I haven't been temping this cycle because i dropped it in the sink full of water and it stopped working!
    :rotfl:
Sorry for TMI but last night whilst I was in the bath I had a blob of EWCM (about 50p size) and nothing since - I haven't done an OPK yet but will do one later - has anyone else had this (I've had it before but never really knew what it was all about until I joined this thread :o)
Sounds good, did it sink to the bottom or float? If it floats, it's the remains from BD, if it sinks then it's ewcm:)
QQ Fingers crossed for the IVF working ... it must be a very nervous time but exciting also!
I like it, it feels like I'm not wasting time:cool:
If this doesn't work, I'd love to try it few more times:)

I feel like I am banging my head off a brick wall, it wasn't this difficult last time to get pg, and I came off the injection!
Don't try too hard, I don't know how you got pg last time, but perhaps you were more relaxed? You've done it before, you can do it again!
I lost 3lb last week, and am aiming to keep on loosing,
    Congrats!:T
My chart is suspiciously looking like I Ovd on cd6? Really hope not.
Hmmm... it does. But fingers crossed it'll be back down tomorrow:o
Qq how did you sleep? You must be so excited!
I slept OK, the anesthetic must have been still there:p
Couldn't do anything until I got the phone call today though:o

QQ - Glad egg collection went well (I did think of you Wed morning funnily enough).
    Awww thanks:o
I have my fingers crossed still. Exciting thing is baby will have been conceived on day of Royal wedding right? (I know they are being put back Saturday, but allow me to have some exaggeration!). Good Luck for Saturday. But I am sure you will not need it.
I need all the luck, so thanks:)

I think 14 fertilised, but 7 were good (useable). I told you most of my eggies are rotten:o

We are hoping for three, and the rest to be frozen for another go later:)

I really hope this is sucessful first time around for you! Sending good luck and PMA vibes for you and your hubby! xx

Now, I need to find some orange clothing for Queen's Day on Saturday! :D

Hi all. CD9 here, i had my first experience of PIAC last night and did an OPK....was negative though.....still had a practice BD just incase!!! It was a nightmare trying to do it without OH realising (the OPK, not the BD that is!!), I don't want him to feel under pressure incase he gets stage fright lol!!!

I'll try and post some pics of the cake. i have one on my phone but can't get it on here. Dad took some on his camera but I'm not sure how good they are. if not I'll pop some on after the wedding. I have to say, I deffo agree with DivorcingJack's OH that they're too much hassle! It's taken over my life for the last 6 months!!!! But it has saved me about £700!!!!

QQ, good luck with the fertilised eggies! Oh and please can you put a * next to me on the list....we have conceive plus but haven't used it yet!

. Oh well, on a positive note, all this bding has done wonders for my depression... I was going to go to the doctors about it but it all seems to have lifted, for the first time this year :grinheart

:T:rotfl: That's brill news! Depression is so draining :( I'm working on the "the more you get, the more you want" theory which seems to work. Since I came off long term pill usage, my libido has been crap!

:j:j:j:j Amazing news!!!! Fingers crossed for Saturday for you both.

Afternoon ladies - well after all the talk of boobage poking yesterday, I woke up with a dull ache under my arms, but perhaps I'm just making it up. All my other (imaginary?) symptoms have disappeared in the last few days. Not hungry either and I forgot to order fruit and vegetables, so I don't have anything in. Grump.

AF due on Saturday and I'm not feeling positive. Double Grump. At least I'm going to stay overnight with a girly friend on saturday, so that should cheer me up.

Sorry for the negativity (or as one of the annoying sales consultants at my work says "bringing the neg to the meeting". I know, I should have them professionally killed)

At least the sun is shining!
