Mail order from Next

Next retailer do not stock childrens clothes from 13 to 16 so they have to be ordered from a retail shop. This means that you cannot try them on.

I ordered some jeans for my son which came to my house the next day. When he tried them on they were too small. I took them back to the shop but, because I did not have my receipt they would only give me a credit note even though I have delivery notes

Can someone advise if this is correct as I believe this is technically mail order.

You don't need a receipt, just proof of purchase. So long as the order had the item name/number and date of purchase, it should have been sufficient.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    Wrong.

If you ordered from the store, you need the reciept and not the blue note that appears inside as thats just a packing sheet and doesn't hold any details

The store could use the order number to print the original reciept off if you press enough.

Ask them to get a t-log
