Hello Mrs E - you get 25% off the full price of the wine, so for example, if you choose 6 bottles of wine at £5 (that would be the cheapest wine you could get, but some of the bottles in the wine in the deal may be more expensive), then the total for the wine would be £30 (6 bottles @ £5) and you would get 25% off that = £7.50. So, effectively, you could get one of your meal deals for £2.50 - What a bargain!

So, if you wanted to save even more - pick the most expensive wine in the meal deal - that way you get a bigger discount!:p

This is where I wish my freezer wasn't the size of a shoebox, so I could take advantage of the wine glitch! Still a decent deal just getting one if I can get a reasonable sized chicken, thanks OP.

Blimey, i thought these threads were for us that don''t have much money !
I could never afford to spend £60 in M&S on food just like that - i barely have £15 to buy all my shopping for the week and that includes toiletries and everything else !
  • its nice as a treat but way to much to spend out with a family
  • I can understand anybody buying 6 if they choose freezable and have freezer space.

But I can also see that if you don't have the cash flow that is not possible.
