    trust me ( ha ha) one coat paint is rubbish
    next thing , when you beat the price down a trades man will not take as much care on the work he will want to finnish quicker to earn the same money , you are only conning your self

    I'm getting Gliddens vinyl matt tinted for just over £16
    magnolia just over a £10

    contract mag 10lts just over £11

    some will get better than me as i've cut my spending down with them quite a bit, but i'd say that price is right.

    rather stick to quality stuff rather than give my customers cheap paint ,

    Gliddens is the cheap trade brand from the house of Dulux. Its OK in white and magnolia if the customers strapped for cash but in preference I wouldn't use it.

    Contract gear for anything but a mist coat or in a new build where the developer is being (usually) picky on costs is selling the customer short IMHO.
