dss mortgage payment help

husband been out off work coming up year and half due to redundancy. we have mortgage and dss been helping but just had call from mortgage provider saying come oct we need to pay short fall of £100 as dss payments been reduced by government. does any one else know about this?

    Yes, from October the rate at which help kicks in goes to the Bank of England base rate which is 3.65% at the moment.

    It is currently 6.08%.

  • husband told will go down to 1.?? come October. what does this government want everyone homeless, they make it so hard for everyone. husband been looking for work done interviews anything to get back into work but no one will take him on as trying to get qualification which means one day at uni prepared to work over to make up the time no one will take him. every way you turn hurdles.
