Switch or Visa Debit account needed

Hi,
My friend wants to open a new bank account which he wants to use to buy and sell stuff online separate from his main bank account.
He needs one which gives a switch or visa debit card and preferably one which is quick at opening the account and setting it all up. He's not bothered about any other perks or anything he just needs to put money in the account and spend it on the card he gets.
Can anyone make any good recommendations?
Thanks folks

He'd actually probably be best off opening a second account with his main bank if possible - either through a different part of the company (e.g. Smile/Co-op) or a bog-standard current account next to a better one he might already have. This is because it would allow him to transfer money immediately and not wait around like with BACS transfers between different banks.DFW stats:

I have accounts with the Co-op and have always had great service from them. I've recently opened another account with Smile too - can't comment on their service yet (no problems so far), but as Anwen says, it's very convenient to have accounts with different parts of the same bank - no waiting for transfers etc. The Co op do Visa debit cards -not sure about Switch/Maestro...0
