Wednesday 25th August - What small things will you do today?

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free :money:
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important

- Sell purge, 5 opportunities today!!!
- [STRIKE]Check banking[/STRIKE] Not horrific, have also made a new section to my red book which doubles as a spending diary for groceries and "my" money.
- [STRIKE]Order ecigie refills, saves me £80 a month![/STRIKE] Done, must say I HIGHLY recommend these for any smokers wanting to be MSE about it.
- DM to hang washing around like a chinese laundry (thanks mum!)
- Snacks from home
- Write Mr T's top up list
- Action list at lunch time
- Chimney sweep coming today, hopefully no jackdaws nests so will be £33 instead of £66
- Didn't vacuum yesterday as I'll probably have to do it after sweep today anyway, saves a bit of leccy!

-OH gave me a lump sum of cash so with aid of friend and thier van get the stuff for lining the chimney
down side it wont goet done til end of next month
as a friend is going to shimmy up the side of the house instead of paying someone far too much to do it! Done and it was much cheaper than we anticipated..shame i cant pocket the rest of the cash!
-defrost meat or fish for tea (havent decided yet)
-visit allotment plot
-chop and freeze more runner bean
-find homes for the 12 courgettes that we cant possibly eat
-disher washer - done
-quick wizz in kitchen - done
-feed friends cats - done
-will collect owner of cats at midnight from the airport
-do some sorting and tidying (really need to get some plastic shelves amd some of those suction storage bags from Focus but thats more money-cant decide whether to spend or not)...i really want my house to be tidy and building work to be finished, i bought the house 6 years ago and there are so many not quite finished jobs grrrr
- mum has just rung, she has found some cheap nice vases in Asda so they will be the table decoration for the wedding - I am going to fill with pink sweets and some will be flowers...yay thats sorted...so just need to make the hundreds of meters of pink bunting!
-ring Virgin media and change to online billing and remove the itemised billing, so that should drop the bill by a few £s every month...every little helps
-really need to find a aerial man to sort ours so i can cancel cable and just use freeview - i will miss my favourite programmes..might not be today but need to do at some point soon
I currently have Animal Plant on TV 'Animal Precinct' they have just took 49 dogs out of a house in NY...some people are so cruel it really upsets me I dont know why i watch programmes like this...and that woman who as a 'joke' put a cat in a wheelie bin...grrrrr.....15hours in it with no food or water grrrrrr
