CCJ - worth getting satisfied?

Similar situation, 21 years old, and a bitter ex has taken a ccj out against me without my knowing and has been harassing me for the past year. I've been in the process of setting it aside but recently paid him the money so i could get rid of the threats and difficulty it has caused me.
Once satisfied, will the ccj ruin my employability/ chances of obtaining a mortgage? My credit report remains strong, even though there is an outstanding ccj... I'm very confused and losing sleep over this!0 -

This thread is a year and a half old, and you've also started your own thread on this subject as well! Keep things all under one thread (your own one) its much simpler, and less annoying!0
