Santander IBAN

I've now got my current a/c open along with eSaver and can view on-line no problem, but the only mention on the site about IBANs is where it says it can be found on your statement. Obviously I don't yet have a statement (are they sent monthly automatically? I'm not bothered about paper copies at the moment) nor any paperwork other than the security stuff, so I can't see it. It seems crazy that it's not displayed in the on-line screens - or am I missing something?

Your IBAN number is printed on the first page of your monthly statement under ‘your account summary’, but you can also get it by calling us on 08459 724 724. We're open Monday to Saturday from 7am to 11pm.

Thanks, but I did see that too - just not desperate enough to call at this time of nightJust seemed daft that they don't provide the information on the accounts page!

Same here for Santander business account. But also for HSBC and Citibank. The IBAN is only shown on the statements.
I fail to understand why don't they simply state you IBAN along your account number and sort code, just in case you need it in order to receive SEPA transfers.0 -
Replies made me realise that my Nationwide account only shows the IBAN/BIC on statements. Even logged in it blanks out all but the last 5 digits of each account. Thought at first this would be for security, then realised I can download the pdf of my statements which DO display the numbers! So can't really see the point.0

Very nice tool indeed. It has returned the correct IBAN for all the accounts I have tested except Citi, but they have some sort of strange arrangement in which the use sort code 30-00-45 for BACS payments but 18-50-04 as part of their IBANs.0
