Hi,
My newish laptop says please insert writable disk when I try to burn a file - but they are virgin writable CD-Rs and I've tried a DVD - RW too. I'm using Window 7 - is it me or is it hard to get used to?
Thanks very much in advance for any help, hoping to get it fixed before I go for the 8am train tomorrow!

It could be that your writer does not like your discs?
I have (albeit relatively old) DVD-RW DL in my tower that will simply reject some cheaper brands of disc, but will accept Tesco's "5 for £1" ones.Signaller, author, father, carer.0 -
