The domain name is cheaperconveyancing.co.uk
I made a bid of £100 and it was accepted virtually straight away.
Its 6 years old.
I looked on whois and compared the sellers details on Sedo and they dont match - so I have emailed my concerns to Sedo. Do I have anything to worry about?
Also, the site doesn't have any history - ie, on site explorer on Yahoo.
I am hopeing to do some SEO on this site and bring it up the search engine rankings but site explorer says the site is not valid.
Can anyone advise? Also, is the price ok for the domain name?
Thanks in advance.

If a domain name is available then it should be much much cheaper.

If it was so important to you that you get exactly this particular domain name, then only you can answer this question. I for myself don't really see why this domain would be worth £100 to anybody...0 -
The really bad thing about that domain name is that cheapconveyancing.co.uk already exists, and yours is just too similar.
As tronator says, make up your own more distinctive one - e.g. conveyancingvalue.co.uk is not yet registered and it would cost less than £6 for 2 years.0 -
£100 is a lot for a domain name, how long have you purchased this domain name for?
A quick WHOIS shows it was first registered on 29-Aug-2004 and is up for renewal on 29-Aug-2010 which accounts for the 6 years you mentioned.0 -
Ive sold lots of domains on sedo for far more than £100 and you are safe as the buyer because sedo hold onto the payment until the domain name is fully transferred to you.0
