I've built a few web sites and recently (after the latest windows hotfix etc) the swf content is not displaying. The pages load fine in Firefox, but the majority of people use IE. Some pages load fine...obviously they're better web builders than me...and they have got their heads round this latest bug that Msoft has thrown our way....when I visit the site in question I get this little spinning logo (shown below but static) any help gladly received yet again....

thanks to any web designers out there...

ooops....can't add pictures....have a look here and see if it loads for you

Loads fine on my IE. There is a Syntax Error in the script in line 4 but this doesn't affect the Flash.

What hotfix did you recently install, you think caused the problem?
  • looks fine to me in IE 6 also

blimey....It wasn't working in IE6 and I've just started using IE7 Beta 3... could it simply be my settings in IE have changed....allowing/blocking certain content?...thanks for the replies so far everyone

Works fine in Firefox 1.0.7 too.
Would this be a subtle bit of self promotion?

that would be a little bit of "no" there :( really am having genuine problems, I am modifying the code so it will take you to MSE just so you can try again....I get the little spinning cubes as if its loading but nothing else....

I assume as youv'e looked you might be into web building or similar....so would it be unsubtle if I asked had you any ideas? :)

  • Your still visible to me using the same as above, did try it on my mates computer, but he didn't have flash or shockwave installed, so maybe that has something to do with it (shockwave not flash).

  • Works fine in opera 9.01.
