You all seem to fit so much into your days, I'm positively ashamed.I've been thinking about taking up photography again - this thread is just the kick up the backside that I needed!
I'd like to read a few articles/books to get me started but the library has nothing inspiring. Can anyone recommend any good websites? In true OS style I don't want to buy any books or magazines if I can possibly avoid it :-)0 -
I like doing jigsaws, dancing around the living room like a nutter with music at full blast! Walking the dog, cooking, surfing the web (when at work) reading.
Not very original I knowComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
I also forgot to say I am a big Radio 4 addict - OH doesn't really like it in the morning but he won't have anything classical on and I refuse to have anything loud forced on me in the morning!! I have tried to convert people at work but they don't seem to have the same fascination for "Veg Talk" as I have
i just don't understand some people...............
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green0 -
I'm a total internet junkie
and write and maintain a website for a group I belong to
Mostly a Roleplay (definition here ) about twice a week - which means I see about 5-9 of my friends generally in one of our houses. It's very money saving as there's no food to buy or anything as either I'm at home or in a friends home where I can cook or whatever as well as very social.Pre O/S: what's a vitamin? Does it begin with the letter e?Now: I'm not eating any of that pre-made rubbish...0 -
Radio 4: what a wonderful station!!!
I couldn't live without it. It always amazes me when people say that they find staying at home turns their brains to mush: all one has to do is to turn on Radio 4 to get instant intellectual stimulation. I could quite happily live on a desert island without any human company if I had a radio :-)0 -
well if we've all taken only one thing away from this thread it is the importance of making time for ourselves, and im sure im not the only one who has realise they are guilty of running around like a headless chicken at times at not making proper 'me' time to relax. something that im determined to change, so thank you one and all for the inspiration and motivationknow thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0
