Hi all,
Ok i've been on the link to the malware removal and followed steps 1-4 however i'm having problems downloading the lavasoft ad aware. It won't download! I've run the scans on the spybot S&D, CCleaner and malwarebyte, removed the infections but still have this security tool warning pop ups!! Have been at this for 6 hours and am beginning to loose the will to live!!!
Any help greatly appreciated
Thanks Asquiths

Ad Aware will do nothing, so forget about it.
Open the Malwarebytes program, got to Logs, double click on the .txt file corresponding to your last scan and copy and paste the contents here.0 -

Can you run Malwarebytes in Normal mode?0
-
I'd also suggest running a full scan. What anti virus software do you have? If it's not Avira, MSE or Avast I'd get rid, download one of these three, uipdate, then scan.0

I can't run the malwarebytes in normal mode as when i click on the link the virus pops up and then nothing happens??0

Download and run the following tool to help allow other programs to run.
RKill.exe
RKill.com
RKill.scr
RKill.pif
- There are 4 different versions. If one of them won't run then download and try to run the other one.
- Vista and Win7 users need to right click and choose Run as Admin
- You only need to get one of them to run, not all of them.
- You will know one ran when a box opens up with a report

apologies if this is a stupid question but when you say right click and run as admin. When and how do i do that?0

Save to Desktop then right click and run as0

OK thanks I've tried to download the top 3 rkill links but with no luck and the 4th link is not working. I'm having to stay in safe mode as in normal i can't access anything without the pop ups constantly being there or just blocking me.0

In safe mode i have clicked on the top link and a box has popped saying rkill - notepad. Do i need to copy n paste this on here? I didn't get given the option to save to desk top so have run as asquiths?0
