Guys iv had my volvo for 1year now and the radio keep asking for a code each time i put it on could u help please?
serial NO: VO0930 H6201088
there also another code on the radio: 3533433-1

VOLVO do not make radios but affix their badge onto radios made by the big manufacturers.(PHILIPS , ALPINE etc)

So please quote the radio MAKE+MODEL plus all the letters+numbers on any barcodes, labels and stamped in the metal casing

What i meant was the car that has the radio is a volvo
MODEL: SC710

4980 9606
Dolby noise reduction etc. there are characters at the end 7100M3490093
Serial No : VO0930 H6201088
Thats all on the radio body. do i need to open the radio to see the manufacturers name?

The SC-710 is an ALPINE ...and ALPINE codes can be very difficult /impossible to calculate from the Serial Number.

Try emailing

restoredclassic@aol.com

to see if they can help as they can often suggest an alternative method of finding the code on these older Volvo/Alpine radios
