wow, you guys are awesome!
I've recently bought a stereo off ebay to upgrade my girlfriend's old cassette player (as a surprise), and imagine how gutted I was when I covertly installed it, only to find the code didn't work, and then have to re-install the original unit! :mad:

Obviously i've mailed the seller, but no response, then I stumbled upon this!

I'd be very very grateful if anyone can help.

the stereo's a Ford 6006E
The serial no is M007936

Hi, could you help with a code for a Phillips Bose CCRT700 headunit - serial number is GM1700W1002421

Also, if possible the code for the CD changer too. Thats a Blaupunkt CDC-2 and serial is GMCDC2W3108349

Both fitted to a Vauxhall Omega

Sorry ..the PHILIPS is not in my database

On the Blaupunkt , can you check to see if there is another number beginning with 7 *** *** *** somewhere on the casing ?

thanks guys, i'll give it a try. Though it is worryingly like the code i was given. Can't remember if that was 7503, or 7403. I'm leaning (and hoping) towards the latter.
