I have a grundig car200 - Serial Number is GM0200X7366056, it came back from teh garage with 'SAFE' showing and unfortunately as its a second hand Corsa we dont have the code. Can anyone help me - you all seem a friendly and knowledgeable lot on here? Many thanks from a newbie

Sorry forgot to say its a Ford 6000 CD RDS eon

Havent used it yet..lawl, The prev. car owner showed it worked..but now i found 9244 as the right code (i think..) but it shows FM ... in the screen (without light) and it isnt responding on any buttons...how can this be possible?? weak battery maybe?..dont think so but yeah why wouldnt it possible..:S
if i press the on/off button again its going on again, but asking the code too..while it is the correct one as it doesnt show up as wrong code..

9244 is the correct code for that serial number. I would be tempted to remove the radio and leave it disconnected for a few hours and then reconnect and try again.

Done that, just turns it off. G/F gave up before I did, and ordered a new stereo off her card, so no longer my problem....

It is 5561. Press button 1 until 5 is in the first -, button 2 until 5 is in the second - etc then button 5 to enter the code.
