Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist.
  • Hi Guys

Can somebody tell me what information you need to give me the radio code for a 12 plate Ford Mondeo petrol 1.6 Ecoboost?

It's my wife's car, just had the clutch replaced and it's asking for a code. I'm sure we had this information but we've mislaid it (or at least I can't find it).

If you need the radio S/N, how do I get that? Removing the radio? ( If "yes" then "How???").

You will have to get the serial number off the radio to find the code.

Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back.

It will usually be a M or V followed by six numbers. Post that serial number and we can find the code for you.
  • OK - thanks.

Can I remove the radio myself?

Have a look here. Not cheap and radio needs sending to them to decode it.
