We need the serial number written on the radio label and even engraved on the metal box of the radio.

Doesn't have anything clearly labelled as serial number and i am not allowed to post images as a new user. how long should it be on a mk4 2014 mondeo radio? is there anything it should start with?

Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back.

It will be a M or V followed by six numbers. Post that serial number and we can find the code for you.

its a touchscreen model so no physical buttons labelled 1 to 6. there are only 2 stickers on the device and nothing beginning V or M. Nothing stamped on the radio beginning V or M either.

Think the serial could be one of these

Think the serial could be 7612330967 based on a site wanting to charge for it

7612330967 is the part number.

That particular unit code is only available from a main dealer or decoding specialist.

Urgh ok thanks for your help. Was hoping to avoid the dealership as they have been useless so far
