Hi,

BLAUPUNKT made units have 14 letters+digits long serial numbers and are printed on the label or engraved on the metal case. Note that 10 digits long part numbers, which always start with 7, are essential part of code calculations, make sure they match to your unit part Numbers
Example:
BP6323xxxxxxxx

Hi Guys,
Just had the battery changed on my 2003 Vauxhall Corsa and sadly don't have the security code for the radio.
Been quoted £15 by a local car audio specialist to re-code it.
Just wondered if anybody knew somebody who could provide the code via the serial number cheaper.

Serial number is : GM020521389777.

Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist.

:j it works! Had a year and a half of driving the van with the radio saying CANCHECK and no one could fix it, not even a new radio. Changing the pollen filter last week I found a connector loose on the floor with two bridging wires returned it to its rightful location on the dash loom and then the radio reads code like it should. And thanks to you I have the last piece of the puzzle! Thanks for taking your time to assist complete strangers regain some music while driving. :beer:
