This units code can only be calculated if there is another number that is 12 letters and digits long on the barcode beginning with a letter C, not a CL such as C70000001234. Have a look to see if this style of number is on the label on the back of the unit. If not it is only possible to get the code from the main dealer or a car radio specialist.

Many thanks for the reply. I will have a look as it is for one of the mums at my kid's school who has just got a new car. She has the stereo out, so should be easy enough to find later. Cheers.

Any pointers towards a code for my 2011 Ford S-max?

Had the battery out, and completely forgot to check the code first.

I think the digits needed to source the code are: V000722

Hello, I just had my Kuga (12) serviced and they had to take the battery out to replace filter.. Now asking for a code.

I think the radio is a FORD-6000-CD
