If anyone doesn't know, in the Ford 6000CD unit, you can press present buttons 1 and 6 to go into service mode and it will scroll through a number of settings. Keep holding down till it shows the last screen which is the serial number (mine started V00


I have had no radio working in my Ford Ka since Aug last year and can't get the radio out using the release keys. The hack I used to get the Tourneo serial no doesn't work in my Ka as it doesn't have the correct buttons (only goes up to 5). Any ideas on how else I can get the serial number?

Sorry, you'd need to visit the Ford dealership to have any hope of retrieving a code through the registration number / VIN number as I doubt anyone has access to the Ford computer here..

Quickest way would be just to remove your radio and provide the serial number or try pressing keys to display the serial number as mentioned in the previous posts
