Hi I have an Nissan Micra 2008. I have just changed the battery and it is now asking for a radio code.

Can anyone help?

I have just spent a fortune on my car and in the process, had to have my battery removed. I love listening to the radio but have no code. My serial number is V027243 and I would be very grateful if anyone could help me.

Sorry. Serial numbers beginning with a V are not available free. They are Ford dealer or radio specialist dealer only as the codes are not calculated from the serial number and access is needed to Ford's database to retrieve the code.

This units code can only be calculated if there is another number that is 12 letters and digits long on the barcode beginning with a letter C, not a CL such as C70000001234. Have a look to see if this style of number is on the label on the back of the unit. If not it is only possible to get the code from the main dealer or a car radio specialist.

These Ford V codes cannot be calculated so have to be obtained from the Ford database.
