Hi
Can anyone help to unlock my Ford Focus stereo
Its a Ford 6000 CD
Serial number is V083711
Thanks in anticipation
Regards
Mike
Sorry. Serial numbers beginning with a V are not available free. They are Ford dealer or radio specialist dealer only as the codes are not calculated from the serial number and access is needed to Ford's database to retrieve the code.0 -
Does anyone have the code for a Ford, Serial - V450789

Ford codes depend on the dealer, and who they've authorised to be able to access codes. Retrieving the codes doesn't cost the dealer anything (other than their annual subscription costs), however they'll often charge a fee to cover admin/labour costs.
Vauxhall radios are more problematic. Anything more modern than ~2005, the radio is coded to the vehicle, and don't have a radio code. If you move the radio to another vehicle, you need to reset the radio, for which you need the security code for the vehicle it was removed from (and for some, the radio still has to be in the vehicle and able to communicate with other modules in that vehicle in order to carry out a reset), and then you need to program it using the VIN and Security code for the vehicle it's being moved to.
New Ford radios (i.e. SYNC) are also coded to the vehicle, but require direct online access via suitable diagnostic kit for any kind of security coding.0 -
Hi.
I have bought a VW radio from a breakers to replace the one in my Golf Mk4. Unfortunately, they didn't have the code. The serial number is VWZ3Z3A7758578.
I've been told VW radio codes can be tricky to get hold of, but I'm hoping someone can help. Would really appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
Many thanks!
