It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

That is not the correct number for a serial number.

Sometimes pressing buttons 1 and 6 or 2 and 6 together will display it. If not the radio will have to be removed to find it on the label on the back. It will be a M or V followed by six numbers
