Hello,
Sorry. Your code will only be available from a main dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a radio decoding specialist. Thanks so much. Is there a good list of main dealers?
Some Volvo Dealers are often obliging and may provide a free code over the phone.
Try ringing several dealerships and ask for the Parts Dept ( without mentioning the code request yet ) where you often find free advice and hopefully a free code from a helpful man behind the counter.
Do NOT email....or ask for a code at the reception or Sales Dept.0 -

I haven't read through the entire thread so please don't shoot me down if i am giving instructions on 'sucking eggs' but as was mentioned on the very first page, I got a code from Ebay for £1 for my secondhand Clio last year after a battery change. There was a 'method' online for working the code out but my time would be extremely short to justify saving one pound. If someone on Ebay is making money, good luck to them. The service was one of the best 'pounds' i spent in 2016. My only hassle wa removing the radio to expose the number required on the back, sent it off and received my 'code' back inside an hour, sorted the radio and wrote the 'working code' into the handbook, the jobs a good'un.0

The chances are that you would be able to get a working code for free by posting on this Forum (especially Renault)
