    Hi

I have a Rover 75 with the "Harmony" type stereo that is built in. I'm a girl and I don't know how to get it out for the serial. Can it be done via VIN? Or is this type a dealer only version anyway like the Rover in the above post anyway?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dawn
  • Hi Dawn,
You need to remove the trim panel above the radio, unclip cover then two screws, this will reveal a further two screws, remove then, you then need tools to fit in slots on front of radio to release clips holding radio casing (cut up old credit card or similar or thin nail file) radio should then slide out and serial number etc on label should be visable, if your lucky previous owner may have written code number on radio.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards
    Stevie
