Car Radio Unlocking

Hi all,
My s max battery keeps dying , I have ordered a new one but worried I am going to need a code for radio when I switch the battery out, I have not seen a code in the glove box records, I heard some don't have a code , is that right, it's a 2007 s max with the black Sony single cd head unit (not dab or multi disc or telephone) but has the telephone mute button - my question is am I going to need the code and if so can I get it from here possibly or is it a main dealer job ! 😩😂 thank you in advance .

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a Ford code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

Thanks a lot for the code but unfortunately it doesn't let me enter it. I tried entering the number menu from holding AS and starting the radio but doesn't work, still says SAFE.
