Car Radio Unlocking

My friend has recently been admitted to hospital for a lengthy stay and he asked me to turn his car over. After finding it had a flat battery I managed to get it started by jumping it from my car but the radio now requires a code and he doesn't know it. It's a 2003 model I think.
Easy to get the radio out, its a HU-655 model.
The numbers on the sticker on top are:
Under the VOLVO word is: P30623403
Serial No. VO3920 3909E192
Model No. 34W392B/RY-605-3E
Below the bar code at the top: 13483 0309 and adjacent to that bar code 403
Hopefully that will be sufficient detail for someone to lend a hand?

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

If it shows LOCKED then someone may have entered too many wrong codes.

Try leaving it switched on (without interruption ) for an hour or two , to see if the display resets to CODE

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service
