Never mind... having looked through the free database cited a few pages back, it appears as if I won't be able to get it for free.

I've found a site that will retrieve the number for me for £5.95 within 15 hours (somewhat cheaper than the £30 my local dealer tried stinging me for)... does anyone know of anywhere even cheaper than that?

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

£5.95 is one of the cheapest.

If anyone could help would be immense, disconnected car battery, didnt realise it clears the code!

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Hi, I've a Rover 400 and I've lost the code for it's Blaupunkt Radio. The serial number is BP8262X3139186 and the part number is 7648262042 (I also have the numbers/code XQE 100 380 and FD089 Index 01) if anyone can help me with the code that would be awesome or if anyone could recommend a website for a reliable cheap code that would be a great help too.

HI, Any chance of a code for the following HU please!? Any help would be much appreciated as I can't deal with no radio for 3 hours of driving a day!!

Sony CD/MP3 player - VP3M5F-18C821-AG from a Ford Focus MK2 2005 titanium.

Serial appears to be M046483 or another label shows CTV142190
