Hi G Ayrton,
Looks like your doing a wonderful thing on here. I have just had my Ford Focus repaired and need a code. I got a key code with it of 9099 which doesn't work. I also have a sticker in my service book stating Unit type FDC200 serial number M117497 and key code 0831 but this doesn't work either.. I need my music but feel the £25 from Ford is a rip-off, please help? I can give you reg and VIN if needed.
Kind regards,

Hello,
Serial M117497 the code ... 0831
But often the references listed on the service book are false.
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
Radio removal instructions can be found here

Sorry.
Your code VDO will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service
It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet.0 -

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code
It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321
Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number
Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
Radio removal instructions can be found here
