Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

This is an old radio using a different technology for its code .
It cannot be decoded using the Serial Number

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Absolutely not true.

I recently got the code for my mother's Fiat Qubo from one of the Fiat forums. It cost me a £5 donation to the forum.

If you find the right forum for your make of car someone on there will have access to the code either via work or they have access to the software required.

I would suggest to anyone wanting a code that they start by finding a similar forum for their car. Fifteen minutes on the Internet can save you money :money:

If you had tried posting your FIAT code request on this Forum first (the Money Saving Expert Forum )then you would (most likely ?) have got it for FREE as members here have the software to calculate FIAT codes ....for free.(no donation required )

The posts where our answer refers to the Main Dealer or a Decoding Service are codes that are unlikely to be available from anywhere for free
