    I've been trying to get my radio out of my mondeo so I can get the serial number and the stupid keys I have aren't working. Will look to see if it's bolted in but have no idea what I'm doing. My kids have been mothering me for music for months and the bloody thing reset after the battery went dead. Any ideas
    ONE HOUSE , DS+ DD Missymoo Living a day at a time and getting through this mess you have created.
    One day life will have no choice but to be nice to me :rotfl:

    The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

    It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M123456 or V654321

    Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

    Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

    Your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

    It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet.
