Hello,
Hope someone can help me retrieve my radio code.
Details:
Serial No: GM050042292123

Thank you very much0 -
Hello,
Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C70000001234 on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio
Thank you very much, Mr Robin Hood
I removed the radio again to check the barcode as you advised, and to my surprise, unnoticed before, there were some tiny, handwritten numbers on the label - yes, the code. So there was a successful outcome. Thank you for your speedy and helpful reply, G. Ayrton. Your interest and kindness is warmly appreciated
