My car never came with a code and the generic stereo I bought to replace it has packed up.

Your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

Morning,I have just brought a Ford Focus 1.8 TDCI and the radio needs a code. I have pressed 6&1 on unit and gave me the following info PEIODP & 11300-06. Then pressed 6&2 and gave me the message No Serial & Code -0--

Any advice on this as I cannot get the serial code from the display?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
