I just had a new alternator for my Vauxhall Astra - battery was disconnected and therefore my radio now in SAFE mode; radio type Delco VDO CDR 500 (E).
Could someone please let me have the code?

Your code VDO will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

SORRY.
Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service.

These V Serial Number codes are not generated so will not normally be available for free from anywhere on the Internet.

They have to be looked up by someone who has access to the official Ford Dealer database

(It's the M Serial Number codes that can be generated for free)
