I'm so glad I found this Thread - recently had to replace my car battery and as a consequence, now have no working stereo!

Phoned the car dealership and they want £20 to give me the code!

If anyone here could help instead, I'd be eternally grateful.

It's a Renault Megane Scenic, 2003.
Stereo is a Gamme Radiosat.
Model No: 22DC258/62P
Product Number: FD0203140106373

Other numbers you may need: TOJ155. 0106373.

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RN or RG or PH or similar somewhere on the radio (quite often stamped in the metal casing)

Yes there is, sorry. It's RN258F30106373.

Trouble is, my brother has been persisantly trying to put random numbers in and now the 'Error' message is staying, instead of reverting back to '0000' - I have a feeling he may have tried it too many times and 'locked' it

Would still like the correct code though, of course.
