Sorry Dave that didn't work in despair I looked in the glove box and pulled open a cover and it has label which says serial number m115320 and then has key code 5385 tried that and it still doesn't work thanks anyway

please read my post again ( radio removel ) M115320 = 5385 so this may be a old radio code you will have to remove the radio !!

I hope someone can help with my radio? car has been in for service and the mechanic had left the battery off, i have managed to remove the radio (Nissan Micra 6 cd changer) , but there was no sticker on the back

i have noted all distinguishable numbers and codes i could find on the unit, so far i have these:
