All european Ford models will have an M or V prefix serial unless it is a Blaupunkt sat nav system when there will be a part number 7 xxx xxx xxx and a serial usually beginning with BP or C7

Hope someone can help. I have pressed 1 and 6 on my Ford radio to get my serial No. but there are no No. beginning with a M. What else can I do to find the M No.?

Try 6&2, if no joy then it will need to be removed from the dash.
