EDIT: I found out that the code is 8505? I think this is correct. However, I can get the correct 4 digits to display on the screen, but when I press button number 5, the radio switches itself off and I have to enter the code again. Is this the correct way to enter the code? (ie. am i pressing the right buttons?)

Hey, could anyone please help me with a code for a Saab 9-3 CD stereo. The number on the stereo label is YS0670X1039268. I have bought this from a scrapped Saab 9-3 as a replacement for the radio cassette that is already in my car- and am worried if I take the old one out I may be left with 2 stereos that don't work and silence in the car!!!

SAAB do not make radios .They only affix their badge onto radios made by the large manufacturers (ALPINE , CLARION etc).

In order to attempt to calculate your code , please supply your radio MAKE+MODEL plus ALL the NUMBERS+LETTERS on ANY LABELS , BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING

Hi, just diconnected the battey safe in the knowledge that I have the rasio code in the audio manual. Never tried it before though. guesss what, it doesn't work.
