The big problem with paying £25 for a code by quoting the Serial Number from anywhere is that if it does not work then it is unlikely that you will get your money refunded....so it is risky.just read one of the previous comments about vdo units in Vauxhall, not to worry, is one of these companies charging £25 likely to be able to get this code for me?
The better option is a local Radio Decoding Service who normally charge £20/£25 and will definitely leave you with a working radio as they can read/recode the radio`s memory chip (EEPROM ) using special software
Try Yellow Pages , Google or ask at your local Car Audio Store0 -
