Hi, My son has a Rover 45 with a Blaupunkt radio. We had to change the battery and so enter the unlock code into the radio from the security card provided, but it doesn't work! The serial number is correct on the card, but I can only think that someone entered the number on the card incorrectly.
    The S.N is: BP216220493716
    The part number is: 7 642 162 310
    Rover CD32

Could someone provide me with the correct code (3341 is incorrect!)
    Thanks,
    Mark
The correct code for those numbers is 3841

    Try it once only
  • Could anyone help needing my ford radio bought car n radio has code and driven me nuts nt havin code the serial is m113255
  • Hi all,

My battery died and my stereo Sony CDX-FS132 now says CODE ----

Is there anyway to get the serial without removing the stereo, i know the keys can be purchased but facing a long drive tomorrow with no radio.

I have tried holding 1 + 6 which shows a bunch of numbers but none look like a serial as they don't start with a letter,

Any ideas, then I will need to get the code from the serial,

    Thanks

If it is not showing up with 6&1 or 6&2 then pulling it out is the only way.

  • Hi when I press 1+6 I get a strange serial at first I get MGP DJ5 then I get a second number of 4-04. Is MGPDJ54 my number? Everyone else's serial seems to have more numbers although mine does begin with an M.

If pressing 6&1 or 6&2 does not give the serial clearly in the form M123456 then you need to pull the unit out and get the serial from the sticker. The keypress option only works on some units.
