Hi. I have just purchased a Ford escort xr3i convertible but unfortunately the radio is looking for a code as I replaced the Battery.
It has the original ford radio with a seperate cd player underneat.The serial no of the radio appears to be 7c011963 and the no on the cd player is n0037701. I am not sure if the cd needs a seperate code to work perhaps some one out there can help.

For the radio 8026 or 8086 if 4 digits, 986 if 3. I do not believe the cd needs a code.
