    sorry to say that v codes are not available for free, your best bet is ebay for under a fiver.

    Just bought this Astra G but the stereo is locked :(
    Entered what I thought was the code, but its now showing 9 SAFE. I've got the serial number off the stereo, but do you need any more details to figure out the code?

    Make: siemens vdo CDR500

    SN: gm050031822283

    If anyone can help, I would be most obliged :-D

    Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

    It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
