Thanks molerat for the quick reply. I've tried that code, but after entering the code (pressing preset 1 ten times to get 0 flashing, preset 2 two times to get 3 flashing etc) and finally pressing 5 to enter the code, it starts flashing CODE again and has used up one of my 10 tries. Any thoughts?

Did you get the M number off of the sticker on the unit or from your handbook. Check the number on the sticker on the radio itself.

  • Hi, I have a Vauxhall Astra with a locked out Philips stereo. I'd be really grateful if anyone could supply a code.

    Manufacturer: Philips.
    Model: Car 400.
    Serial Number: GM0400X2459456

Some other numbers on a paper label (dunno if they're of importance):
    09 136 106
    9022 213 99759 00 (bar code)
    003 9928 2459456 (bar code)
    WA009928

    Many thanks in advance.

(ps I tried my local Vauxhall dealer in Sandwell. They want £36!)
