EDIT ::: just spoke to my brother and there is no serial number on the radio, he even removed the small flap of buttons but neither underneath that or on the back of it was any serial to be found. ??

Maybe i´m misunderstanding ?

Press 6&1 or 6&2 and the serial may appear on the screen clearly in the format M123456. If not the radio will need to be removed from the dash and the serial read from the sticker.

New to the forum and would be so very very grateful for help

I have a 2006 C Max with the standard cd player

got work done on car on car code was lost and now cannot use stereo

even worse cannot get stereo from dash as pins are broke

Is there anyway I can get the code without the serial number (maybe the reg only)

Any help would be great

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
