Hi, don't know if this is the right number but if this is the correct serial number, does anyone have the code to unlock my cd player - MCDGG-D5-8???
    Any help welcomed!
The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

Ford codes usually begin with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Radio removal instructions can be found here

Hi I don't know if anyone can help with a ford radio code as the serial number doesn't start with an M but this is all I could find on the radio
VO54126 or FDB200 if not I will look again thanks
Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet (unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

See your PM message for cheap and reliable options

Otherwise try your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service

    Hi guys,
I have tried the code again (8970) but it has locked me out again. I have taken the radio out and the serial number on the top is M023608 as quoted before. If you press 6&1 on the radio this brings up some info but not the serial number of the unit. Can anyone please provide any further help? Many thanks.
As stated previously 8970 is the correct code for M023608

See PM message for further suggestions

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
