Car Radio Unlocking

Had a flat battery in my 53 plate mondeo and now my cd player wants a code! I started mashing buttons and now I have to wait 30mins before I can do anything. Was told to press and hold 1 and 6 together to get my serial number.
I've done this and it says
DP MV SH
507000 12 (with 255 underneath)
09 - 00 - 00
None of these numbers look like the serial numbers posted above. I haven't waited for the timer to run down, will that make a difference??
If anyone can help me out that would be amazing.
Please help me I need music!

V serial codes are not available free, ebay for less than £5

You will need to pull it from the dash and get the serial from the sticker.

Code not working! Radio screen shows 3 lines. I press button 1 8 times, then button 2 5 times, then button 3 4 times and then press button 4 4 times. Should the screen show the digits i enter as im doing it, as the screen just stays 3 lines? Maybe it's 3 digit code, radio has 4 number! Thanks for help!

All M serial codes are four digit codes each digit of code should appear in display as you select, Don't know why you are seeing only three --- should be four ----
