Your code is 93210 -
Thanks yes radio resets itself after 45mins from 'secure' to 'code' but when I put the code in it automatically reverts to secure. 9999 was the code I had recorded in the car manual but thought this must be wrong. Have followed procedure in nissan manual to letter.
Thanks for your help
1....If the code is correct according to my Serial Number calculation and ihas been double checked as the same as you had originally.........
2...You are entering the code correctly using the correct instructions
3...The radio resets OK ...but does not accept the above code
.......then this usually means that your radio has been recoded in the past to a completely different number and will no longer accept the original code.
I would still like to bet that there is "human error" somewhere above and the radio has NOT been re-coded0 -

code needed for serial M009273 please as I need to disconnect battery.
thanks in advance0 -
The Serial Number ( usually beginning with M + + + + + + ) is found on a label on the casing. It might also can be found with the car`s paperwork (Audio Guide) ..but this may not be correct as the radio may have been swopped.
It will have to be removed from the dashboard using a pair of extractors ( or bent wire coat hanger/ 4x small drills / 4 nails or similar)
There is a video demo at the bottom of this useful page

Hi Reg,
I've taken a look at the video but my wife's car stereo is like this:
There are no holes on the side to get the car radio out of I don't think.
Can you tell by this whether or not I am likely to have a code that can be generated?
Thanx
