    Ok thanks for a quick reply, got no tools to remove unit so will have to take it to the audio shop and get them to do it thanks again

    There are 4 little round holes in the unit, a wire coat hanger / drill bit / small screwdriver can be gently inserted into those holes and the unit pulled out.
